About The Position
Lake Port Square is seeking Companions, Caregivers, or Home Health Aides for their private duty program. This role offers a flexible schedule in a relaxed atmosphere within a senior living community located on the shores of Lake Harris in Leesburg, FL. The community is CHAP Accredited and focuses on providing hospitality to residents while offering career advancement opportunities for employees.
Requirements
- HHA
- CPR Certification current or upon hire.
- Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care assistance such as showers, dressing, grooming
- Shopping and errands
- Companionship
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping such as laundry
- Assistance with going to medical appointments
