About The Position

Towne Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides/CNAs to provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living for geriatric clients in their residences. The agency provides home care intended to support clients’ quality of life in familiar surroundings. Placement is subject to case availability. Applicants must complete the hiring process, including an application, orientation, exam, interview, background check, and submission of all agency-required documents.

Requirements

Have a caring and compassionate personality.
Hold a current CNA license in Florida or another state, or have completed an AHCA-approved 40-hour Home Health Aide course.
Obtain communicable disease clearance from a doctor, including a current single-step PPD test or chest X-ray.
Complete Level II background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.
Complete all aspects of the hiring process, including application, orientation, exam, interview, background check, and submission of required agency documents.

Nice To Haves

A driver’s license and reliable vehicle are preferred.
Proficiency in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care in patients’ residences, including toileting, bathing, dressing, transferring, and ambulation assistance.
Perform light housekeeping and other household tasks, including laundry and linen changes.
Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies or exercises.
Assist with self-administration of medications and provide medication reminders.
Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
Assist with grocery shopping, transportation to doctor appointments, and errands.
