Home Health Aide - CNA
About The Position
As a Home Health Aide or CNA with Havasu Regional Home Health, part of LHC Group and the Optum family of businesses, you will provide patients with in-home personal care and designated health-related services to help maintain their physical and emotional well-being. The role involves supporting patients with daily living activities, observing and reporting on their condition, and assisting with household tasks that are directly essential to personal care. The position requires safe travel when business travel is needed and the ability to work in clients' homes regardless of their personal circumstances. Requirements
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
- Pass a drug test before beginning employment.
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete it within 90 days of hire.
- At least 6 months of home care experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours and independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide or assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing; hair, teeth, mouth, denture, nail, and skin care; and transfers between beds, chairs, wheelchairs, bedpans, commodes, and toilets.
- Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
- Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when business travel is required.
- Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.
- Function in any home situation regardless of the client's age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
