Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Home health, hospice, or related caregiver experience
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Reliable, professional, and dependable
- Ability to handle the physical aspects of caregiving
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide routine, individualized personal care in patients' homes
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team
- Provide basic health-related tasks such as medication reminders and bandage changes (as permitted)
- Support patient comfort, safety, and daily living needs
- Educate family members on proper care techniques when appropriate
- Follow the established plan of care and agency guidelines
- Maintain patient confidentiality and a safe home environment
