About The Position
Uplift HomeCare provides in-home private duty care and currently has opportunities available in Winter Haven, Florida. Our caregivers work one-on-one with seniors and veterans, helping them remain independent and safely age in place in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- CNA certification or HHA certification with at least 75 verifiable hours
- Current AHCA Level II Background Screening
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Current automobile insurance
- Reliable vehicle
- Current CPR certification
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia training
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to patient care
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with safe mobility and transfers, as appropriate
- Supporting seniors and veterans in maintaining independence at home
- Observing and reporting changes in the patient’s condition to the appropriate care team
- Following the patient’s individualized plan of care and Agency policies
