About The Position

Seniornest Homecare is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers – Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) – for live-in and hourly cases in Paterson, NJ and throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. We are a nurse-owned agency, and you will be supported by a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of hands-on patient care experience. We are a nurse-owned, caregiver-focused agency with a supportive team available 24/7. You will work directly with a Registered Nurse who understands your work and supports you in the field. Immediate openings are available, allowing you to get hired and start working this week. Our convenient local office is located at 140 E. Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ.

Requirements

Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care).
Current PPD test (within the last 12 months) and MMR vaccination record.
Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation according to the care plan.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (tidying, laundry, meal assistance) as directed by the care plan.
Follow the client’s individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow appropriate infection-control and PPE procedures.
