About The Position
Seniornest Homecare is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers – Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) – for live-in and hourly cases in Paterson, NJ and throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. We are a nurse-owned agency, and you will be supported by a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of hands-on patient care experience. We are a nurse-owned, caregiver-focused agency with a supportive team available 24/7. Work directly with a Registered Nurse who understands your work and supports you in the field. Requirements
- Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care).
- Current PPD test (within the last 12 months) and MMR vaccination record.
- Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation according to the care plan.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (tidying, laundry, meal assistance) as directed by the care plan.
- Follow the client’s individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection control and PPE procedures.
