About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide care to seniors and individuals in their own homes. Caregivers help clients maintain independence and remain safely at home. The role offers flexible scheduling and pays $19–$21 per hour, with pay based on experience, certification, and location. HHA certification is preferred but not required; training and certification opportunities are available for those interested in starting a home-care career. The position serves communities including Agawam, Belchertown, Brimfield, Chicopee, East Longmeadow, Granby, Hampden, Holland, Holyoke, Longmeadow, Ludlow, Monson, Palmer, South Hadley, Springfield, Wales, Ware, Warren, West Springfield, and Wilbraham.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Compassionate, dependable, and respectful attitude.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing excellent care to clients.
Nice To Haves
- HHA or CNA certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
- Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe, clean home.
- Go grocery shopping and complete other errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with daily activities.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies.
