About The Position

We are looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) in Miami Beach, FL. The role involves performing personal care activities, preparing meals, accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments, performing housekeeping, and providing patient-specific care such as hospice support, medication reminders, assisting with exercises, and incontinence care. Use of lifting equipment is also required.

Requirements

Must speak English.
Willing to drive clients.
CNA license or HHA Certificate (Must have attained certificate prior to interview).
Valid Driver License or State Photo ID.
Social Security (in Color).
Proof of Legal Status.
Auto Insurance and Registration.
CPR Card (cannot be an online class).
TB or Chest X-ray.
Level 2 Fingerprint Background check.
Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU.
1 letter of recommendation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Hoyer lift.
Experience with Personal care.
Experience with Range of Motion Exercises.
Experience with Companionship.
Experience with Light cleaning.

Responsibilities

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (Personal Hygiene, Ambulation/Transfers, Dressing/Shaving).
Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
Performs housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom).
Provides hospice supportive care.
Gives medication reminders.
Assists with exercises.
Provides incontinence care.
Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
