About The Position

We are looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) in Cutler Bay, FL. This role involves performing personal care activities, preparing meals, accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments, performing housekeeping, and assisting with patient-specific activities such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, assisting with exercises, and incontinence care. You will also be responsible for using lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Requirements

CNA license or HHA Certificate (Must have attained certificate prior to interview)
Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
Social Security (in Color)
Proof of Legal Status
Auto Insurance and Registration
CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
TB or Chest X-ray
Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
1 letter of recommendation

Responsibilities

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living (Personal Hygiene, Ambulation/Transfers, Dressing/Shaving).
Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
Performs housekeeping activities (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom).
Performs patient-specific activities (Providing hospice supportive care, Medication reminders, Assisting with exercises, Incontinence care).
Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
