About The Position
Right at Home, a leading In-Home Care company, is seeking experienced and professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for its Miami office. The role involves providing essential care to clients in the Coral Gables area. This is an essential service, and caregivers are crucial to meeting client needs.
Requirements
- Home Health Aid Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Required)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile (Required)
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), ambulation, transfers, and eating.
- Preparing meals and snacks as per instructions.
- Accompanying patients on errands and medical appointments.
- Performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, changing linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assisting with patient-specific activities as taught by a Right at Home nurse, which may include medication reminders, assisting with range of motion exercises, preparing special diets, dementia care, and incontinence care.
