FirstLantic Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes. You’ll help them maintain safety, dignity, and independence under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Applicant must be available Saturday and Sunday
- Must have reliable Transportation
- Current CNA license or HHA certification (75+ hours of approved training, including 40 hours of home health aide training)
- CPR certification and valid health certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes
- Ability to safely assist with lifting and transfers
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping)
- Offer emotional support and meaningful conversation
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or walks
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse
- Remind clients to take self-administered medications
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
