About The Position

We are looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) in the Perrine and Cutler Bay, FL area. This role involves assisting patients with daily living activities, meal preparation, housekeeping, and providing patient-specific care. The ideal candidate must speak English, be willing to drive clients, and possess the required certifications and documentation.

Requirements

CNA license or HHA Certificate (Must have attained certificate prior to interview)
Valid Driver License or State Photo ID
Social Security (in Color)
Proof of Legal Status
Auto Insurance and Registration
CPR Card (cannot be an online class)
TB or Chest X-ray
Level 2 Fingerprint Background check
Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with medications CEU
1 letter of recommendation
Must speak English
Willing to drive clients

Responsibilities

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation/transfers, and dressing/shaving.
Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompanies patient on errands or medical appointments.
Performs housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
Provides patient-specific activities, including hospice supportive care, medication reminders, assisting with exercises, and incontinence care.
Uses lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
