About The Position

Senior Helpers of Sunrise is seeking a bilingual Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join their team. Requirements

Bilingual (language not specified, but implied to be English plus another)
Certified HHA or active CNA license
Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level
Ability to drive or use public transportation to get to work
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must possess a valid social security number
Complete any required health screenings as required
Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
Pass a criminal background check prior to employment

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living
Transferring and positioning of client
Observing and reporting changes of physical and mental conditions
Companionship and conversation
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily (if applicable)
Report any significant client changes to the office immediately
Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual
