Home Health Aide/Certified Caregiver
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring passionate Caregivers, CNAs, and Home Health Aides across the Greater Phoenix area. They offer a Home Health Aide Training Class once a month for those new to the field. The role involves reliably serving patients in assigned counties within BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division. As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home. This role offers the opportunity to develop close relationships with clients while assisting them with daily living activities, household tasks, meal preparation, exercises, and medication reminders. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider celebrating 50 years of service. Requirements
- 1+ year of verifiable caregiving experience OR active CNA/LNA certification
- Compassion, reliability, and the willingness to learn
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

- Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Perform household support tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Assist with range of motion/exercises.
- Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
- Provide medication reminders.
