About The Position
BrightStar Care is looking for dependable Caregivers/Home Health Aides to join our PRN Resource Pool and provide in-home care to clients throughout the Lubbock area. This role is ideal for caregivers who are available to provide coverage for as-needed assignments based on client needs and your availability. You’ll help clients with daily routines, personal care, and activities that help them remain comfortable and independent at home.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or home health aide experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification and Driver's License
- Compassionate, patient approach to client care
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and follow the client’s plan of care
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
- Provide coverage for PRN and as-needed assignments
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Support clients with daily routines and activities
- Communicate client needs and changes to the appropriate care team
