About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aids to provide quality in-home care for clients in Shelby Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to improve their quality of life in a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home health care or related field is an advantage.
- Compassionate and patient with excellent interpersonal skills IS A MUST.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Shelby Township, MI is a plus.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is an advantage.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfer, including using assistive devices as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if required.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals diligently.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
