Our client, a well-established and highly respected Credit Union, is seeking experienced Home Equity Loan Processors to join their Lending Operations team. Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of full-cycle mortgage processing or home equity loan processing experience
Experience managing a loan pipeline and processing files from application through closing
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced lending environment
Candidates should already possess foundational home equity or mortgage processing knowledge

Responsibilities

Process home equity loan applications from initial submission through closing
Manage a pipeline of approximately 25-30 active loan files once fully trained
Review income documentation, including pay stubs, tax returns, and supporting financial records
Order and review appraisals when required
Order flood certifications and verify property eligibility
Gather and review payoff statements and lien information
Review mortgagee clauses and ensure documentation accuracy
Prepare complete loan packages for underwriting review
Coordinate with underwriters, title companies, and members throughout the loan process
Schedule and arrange loan closings
Ensure compliance with credit union policies and lending guidelines
Maintain accuracy while meeting productivity and service-level expectations
