We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Home Energy Inspector! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Day to day tasks include completing scheduled residential home audits, Encouraging customers to participate in available energy saving programs, assessing customers energy usage, evaluating home insulation deficiencies, completing installation of energy efficiency products such as shower heads, lighting, power strips and more. This position is field based in all weather conditions along with examining attics, basements, crawlspaces, interior and exterior structures. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 6 months – 1 year of utilities, HVAC, residential construction, energy knowledge or relevant experience.
  • 21 years of age or older with valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • BPI Certification preferred, ability to obtain certification within 3-6 months, training will be proved

Responsibilities

  • Conduct walks through energy assessments through residential homes.
  • Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications.
  • Discuss energy efficiency programs to customers.
  • Maintain organization of company vehicles, inventory, and paperwork.
