About The Position

As a Home Delivery Driver for Mom’s Meals, you will help ensure customers receive their meals for the upcoming week. You will load and unload prepacked meal boxes from designated cold storage and deliver them to customers’ homes, sometimes bringing meals inside. Prompt delivery and excellent customer service are central to the role. The schedule is a four-day work week, Tuesday through Friday, at the Albuquerque, New Mexico location. Pay is $20 per hour, with a monthly bonus opportunity. Employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent driving record, as verified through DMV records.
Good communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write English.
Ability to sufficiently operate a smartphone.
Familiarity and comfort with using and following GPS routing.
Basic math skills.
Ability to drive in various weather and traffic conditions.
Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
Prior experience adhering to company policies and demonstrating core values.
Must pass a post-offer drug screen, background check, and MVR lookup.

Nice To Haves

Previous delivery-driving experience in a customer-facing environment.
Experience completing high-volume delivery routes in residential areas.
Strong customer service experience, including communicating professionally and courteously with customers in their homes.
Experience working independently while meeting productivity and on-time delivery expectations.
Experience in roles requiring frequent driving, time management, and direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
Load meals into the company vehicle at the designated cold storage facility.
Deliver meals to clients, often bringing them into clients’ homes.
Call clients when delivery issues arise or when required for the region.
Accurately and consistently record deliveries in the MMHD delivery application.
Follow food sanitation and food-safety procedures consistently.
Provide excellent customer service to clients at all times.
Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment in a safe operating condition.
Immediately report equipment failures and vehicle damage to a supervisor so repairs can be arranged.
Assist with vehicle and driver audits.
Ensure deliveries comply with established protocols.
