About The Position

The Home Delivery Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate picking, packing, and delivery of orders in good condition. This role requires providing excellent customer service, addressing and resolving delivery issues, and operating delivery vehicles safely and professionally. The clerk will manage multiple orders and customer preferences, collaborate with team members to optimize routes and maintain food freshness, and assist with navigation. Clear communication with internal teams and customers is essential, as is maintaining accurate delivery logs. The position involves lifting heavy food orders and operating a vehicle for extended periods, requiring strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, along with a clean driving record and valid driver's license. Exceptional customer service, including a positive attitude, respect, and flexibility, is expected.

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Customer service skills that exceed expectations.

Operate delivery vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions.
Assist team members in navigating routes using GPS devices.
Communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.
Maintain detailed delivery logs and ensure order accuracy.
Lift and carry heavy food orders and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver’s license.
