Requirements

  • 3 years of supervisory experience in DD field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in DODD compliance.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in residential care program management.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under little supervision.
  • Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards.
  • Positive attitude with the desire to help others.
  • 21+ years or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with less than 6 BMV points and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional hands-on experience in a transportation program would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing, hiring, evaluations, and maintaining proper training and development of high-quality staff for Home Coordinators and Leads.
  • Ensuring direct reports receive required annual trainings.
  • Directly supervising all Mahoning and Trumbull County direct Home Coordinators and Leads.
  • Conducting employee evaluations for direct reports.
  • Overall responsibility for scheduling coordination and compliance in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinating and facilitating communication to members of the client’s team, including service and support administrators (SSAs), day service representatives, and family or legal guardians.
  • Interacting directly with clients, their guardians, behavioral specialists, and SSAs as needed.
  • Supervising the completion of Clock-In’s, HPC sheets, BSP Data Tracking Sheets, Unusual Incident Reports, and Major Unusual Incident Reports.
  • Ensuring that all Home Coordinators/Leads have adequate home training to ensure that all DSP’s are being properly trained in the home.
  • Ensuring that daily medications are being passed by nursing or certified staff.
  • Tracking trends and patterns from documentation and incident reports.
  • Performing house/vehicle checks.
  • Reporting all UIs and MUIs as required by law.
  • Weekly review, and where necessary correction of, all documents and other information required for regulatory compliance purposes to ensure adequate documentation.
  • Leading, attending, and participating in scheduled staff meetings, designated training, and in-service sessions.
  • Coordinating weekly or as needed meetings with Home Coordinators/Leads.
  • Performing service and support data entry.
  • Performing central scheduling.
  • Keeping equipment operating by establishing and enforcing operating and preventive maintenance rules; arranging for repairs.
  • Adhering to confidentiality guidelines, as outlined by organization policy and HIPPA regulations.
  • Providing direct care or transportation to clients as needed.
  • Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and pulling, intermittently.
  • Potentially spending time on location at a consumer’s home evenings, weekends, and holidays.
