About The Position

Touching Hearts at Home is looking for compassionate Caregivers to join our Capital District team! If you have a heart for helping others and love one-on-one connections, this is your chance to change lives — one visit at a time. Provide non-medical care and companionship for seniors and adults in their homes — no hands-on hygiene or medical tasks required! Your support helps clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Requirements

• Caring, dependable individuals who embody Compassion, Commitment, Communication, and Consideration
• A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
• 20-25 hours of availability
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
• Ability to travel up to 15 miles for shifts
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone
• Must pass background and driving checks

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and companionship for seniors and adults in their homes
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation
• Provide social companionship, reminders, and encouragement
• Provide standby assistance and safety oversight
