About The Position

At Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning, we believe great sales professionals don’t just sell, they advise, educate, and build trust. As a Home Comfort Advisor (HCA), you’ll help homeowners make informed decisions about their home comfort systems while being rewarded directly for your performance. This is a 100% commission-based, field sales opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Backed by strong brand recognition, high-intent customer demand, and industry-leading training, you’ll meet with homeowners who are already seeking solutions and guide them through options that best align with their comfort, efficiency, and budget needs. Requirements

  • 3+ years of business-to-consumer sales experience (preferred)
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through
  • Comfort using basic computer systems and CRM tools
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, and occasional weekends
  • A valid driver’s licence and ability to travel locally
  • Post-secondary education in business or marketing is an asset, but not required.
  • Previous HVAC experience is not required - we provide full training.
  • This position requires a Criminal Background Check be completed for potential candidates. This check must be satisfactory in order for an employment offer to be extended unconditionally.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with homeowners to understand their comfort goals, efficiency needs, home layout, and budget considerations using a consultative, needs-based approach
  • Recommending HVAC solutions that are genuinely right for the customer — balancing performance, value, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability
  • Clearly and confidently explaining system options, pricing, financing, warranties, rebates, and energy-saving benefits
  • Working primarily from company-generated appointments, while also leveraging referrals, repeat customers, and personal networks to grow your pipeline and earning potential
  • Managing your sales pipeline with discipline, organization, and timely follow-up
  • Following up after the sale to ensure an exceptional customer experience and generate repeat and referral business
  • Consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets through ethical, professional selling practices
  • Collaborating closely with branch teams, service technicians, and operations leaders to ensure a seamless customer handoff
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and CRM updates to support forecasting, customer follow-up, and performance tracking
