About The Position
Visiting Angels of Hanover, PA is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented individuals to join their growing team as Home Caregivers. This essential care team provides much-needed support to local seniors in their homes. This is a part-time position with the potential for up to full-time hours, depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. The role requires travel to client homes in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, PA, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years to apply
- 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Passing criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required
- Positive attitude and proven track record of dependability
- Communicate effectively at all times with clients, peers, and supervisors
Nice To Haves
- CNA license preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home
- Issue medication reminders
- Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers
