About The Position

Join Visiting Angels of Lancaster as a Home Caregiver and provide essential non-medical support and companionship to seniors in their homes. This part-time position offers up to full-time hours based on flexibility, availability, and demand. We are particularly seeking individuals for evening shifts, allowing you to keep your days free. Requirements

Must be 18+ years to apply
1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
Must be dependable and display a positive attitude
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors

Nice To Haves

CNA license preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical support and friendly companionship to senior clients
Hygiene assistance; including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with walking, transfers, and other mobility challenges
Monitor medication schedules and issue reminders
Assist with household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments
Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
