Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Previous professional caregiving experience preferred
Compassionate, dependable, and professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Current automobile insurance
Willingness to travel between client homes
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Criminal background check
Fingerprint-based background screening
Drug screening
Verification of employment eligibility

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical personal care and companionship to clients in their homes while promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
Providing mobility assistance and transfers
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Light housekeeping and laundry
Medication reminders and delegated care tasks, as permitted
Providing companionship and emotional support
Transporting or accompanying clients to appointments and errands
Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
Following individualized care plans and agency policies
