About The Position

This is a part-time position with up to full-time hours available depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. Visiting Angels of York is seeking a caregiver for a rewarding role that fits your schedule, offering flexibility with days or evening shifts. They serve clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, PA. The role involves providing one-on-one care in a non-medical environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years to apply
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must have valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• CNA license preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, getting dressed, toileting, and incontinence care
• Help with light housekeeping and other quiet household tasks
• Perform transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance as needed
• Monitor the client to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night
• Provide all other non-medical assistance as assigned
