In Home Caregiver (Weekends Only)
About The Position
Kore Cares is hiring Weekend Caregivers in Sioux Falls to help individuals remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes. This part-time weekend role offers flexible shifts (morning, daytime, and evening) and is ideal for those seeking extra income, a second job, or a career in healthcare. No prior caregiving experience is required as training is provided. The role involves one-on-one support for clients in their homes, making a meaningful difference in their lives. Requirements
- Be dependable and compassionate.
- Be able to safely perform the physical duties of caregiving.
- Read, write, understand and speak English.
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience.
- Experience as a caregiver, CNA, home health aide, personal care assistant (PCA), direct support professional (DSP) or in senior care.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes.
- Help with bathing, dressing, toileting and personal care.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and socialization.
- Help with walking, transfers and mobility.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with errands and transportation.
