About The Position

Visiting Angels of Hanover, PA is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented individuals to join their growing team as Home Caregivers. This essential care team provides much-needed support to local seniors in their homes. This is a part-time position with the potential for up to full-time hours, depending on flexibility, availability, and demand. The role requires travel to client homes in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, PA, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years to apply
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required
• Positive attitude and proven track record of dependability
• Communicate effectively at all times with clients, peers, and supervisors

Nice To Haves

• CNA license preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home
• Issue medication reminders
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers
