About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Holly, MI. As a Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living activities of individuals who require assistance, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care-giving or related field is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not required as soon as you can make it to the clients home.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers.
- Report any changes in clients’ condition or needs promptly.
