About The Position

SeaStar Senior Services is looking for a dependable, level-headed Caregiver Supervisor to own our weekday home care operations. You'll be the go-to person for our caregivers and clients Monday through Friday - handling call-offs, checking in on clients, coaching caregivers, and keeping families informed. If you're someone who stays calm under pressure, genuinely cares about seniors and adults with disabilities, and likes having ownership over your shift, this is a great fit.

Requirements

Experience working with seniors and/or adults with disabilities, dementia, or mental illness
Prior supervisory or lead caregiver experience preferred
Comfortable handling urgent situations independently
Reliable transportation for weekday client home visits
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain - we can help with training)
Comfortable with Google Docs/Sheets and willing to learn the Wellsky portal
High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

CNA training or college coursework a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor attendance, manage call-offs, and deploy backup caregivers to keep every weekday shift covered.
Be the primary point of contact for weekday emergencies, urgent client needs, and caregiver questions.
Conduct drop-in visits to client homes to make sure care plans are being followed and assess caregiver performance.
Coach and give feedback to field caregivers.
Keep client charts and the Wellsky time-tracking app accurate and current.
Keep families in the loop on their loved one's status.
