About The Position

The Retention Specialist plays a key role in maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers. This position focuses on improving client satisfaction, reducing service cancellations, resolving concerns, and supporting overall retention efforts within the agency. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, customer-service driven, and experienced in home care operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care a MUST HAVE
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling/EMR systems
  • Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers
  • Conduct regular follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction with services
  • Address and resolve client or caregiver concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor retention trends and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with scheduling, HR, and clinical teams to improve continuity of care
  • Assist with caregiver engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Document all client interactions and retention activities accurately
  • Support onboarding and transition processes for new clients
  • Help reduce missed visits, service interruptions, and client attrition
