About The Position

Interim Home Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional care professional for a part-time, one-on-one home care position in the Ogden area. This role involves providing personalized, hands-on care in a client's home to help them maintain independence and quality of life. The shifts are approximately 2 hours long and are consistent, offering reliable part-time work that can fit around a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required
• Must be able to pass a DACS background check
• A calm, patient, and professional demeanor
• Someone who takes initiative — you don’t wait to be told what needs to be done
• Creative problem-solver who can adapt to the unique needs of each client
• Dependable and reliable — our clients count on you showing up
• Strong communication skills and ability to report changes in client condition promptly

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a care professional or in a related role preferred

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning
• Organization and decluttering of living spaces
• Laundry and linen changes as needed
• Meal preparation and light kitchen cleanup
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living as needed
• Communicate any changes in the client’s condition or environment to the care team promptly
