In addition, quarterly speakers are brought in to enhance your skill set, for which you are given certificates upon completion.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Passion for caregiving
- Some experience in caregiving
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.
- Help with mobility, safe transfers, and range-of-motion or physical therapy exercises.
- Plan and cook nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions, and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, doing laundry, and washing dishes.
- Remind clients to take medications, and monitor physical or mental health changes, reporting any issues to a supervisor or nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support, conversation, and engagement in hobbies or social activities.
- Run errands, grocery shop, and drive clients to medical appointments or community outings.
