About The Position
Prime Healthcare Home Health Care is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role involves providing home health services to patients, including evaluations, treatment, and communication with healthcare professionals and caregivers. The Occupational Therapist will also supervise Home Health Aides and actively participate in department functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist.
- One (1) year recent clinical experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current driver’s license, car insurance, car registration, and reliable automobile.
Nice To Haves
- Home Care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs evaluations and re-evaluations on patients to establish plan of care and goals.
- Performs patient treatment per Occupational Therapy procedures of modalities, therapeutic exercise, ADL training and other accepted methods.
- Communicates pertinent information, verbally or written, to physician, other staff members and patients/caregivers.
- Supervises and directs Home Health Aide’s care in relationship to the patient’s rehab program.
- Demonstrates active participation in home care department functions.
