About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for pediatric and adult clients in their homes. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and a supportive company culture. BAYADA provides care for individuals of all ages and diagnoses, with opportunities to work with clients requiring advanced care such as tracheostomy and ventilator management. The company offers extensive paid training, including access to award-winning simulation labs. This position is currently hiring for cases in Lakeland, Frost Proof, Plant City, Winter Haven, Auburndale, Haines City, and Davenport, with full-time, part-time, and PRN hours available. A high-priority case in Lakeland requires a reliable, experienced pediatric nurse for ongoing day shifts, with previous trach/vent experience preferred but not required. The client is a 4-year-old with a trach and vent, and the parents are seeking a long-term nurse for at least two shifts per week. Tracheostomy care is primarily handled by the parents, who are comfortable with the nurse's skills and manage all trach changes. There are no pets in the home.
Requirements
- Current valid nursing license
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program
- Current CPR Card
- Reliable, experienced pediatric nurse for ongoing day shifts (preferred for high-priority case)
- Previous trach/vent experience (preferred but not required for high-priority case)
- Interest in working with the pediatric client long-term for at least two shifts each week

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care to pediatric and adult clients in their homes.
- Deliver care to clients requiring advanced care, such as tracheostomy and ventilator management.
- Work with a happy and energetic 4-year-old client with a trach and vent in Lakeland.
- Provide care for at least two shifts each week for the pediatric client.
- Perform tracheostomy care as needed, though parents handle most of it and all trach changes.
- Utilize electronic charting using Statewise.
