About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned, family-operated agency serving families across the Lutherville area. We built this company on one belief: that exceptional care begins with an exceptional experience, for our clients, their families, and our caregivers alike. We are growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. This is a full-time, in-office position, 40 hours a week, and it is the operational heartbeat of our agency. It starts as an hourly role and is designed to grow into a salaried management position for the right person. One thing we want to be clear about up front: this role requires participation in an evening and weekend on-call rotation. Caring for families doesn’t stop at 5 p.m., and we need someone who understands that going in. If you are organized, genuinely warm with people, and ready for that commitment, we want to meet you.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfort juggling competing priorities without losing warmth
Participation in an evening and weekend on-call rotation

Responsibilities

Coordinating caregiver schedules
Matching caregivers to clients based on skills and personality
Responding quickly and kindly to every call and email
Supporting hiring efforts
Helping to keep client records accurate
Ensuring compliance with Maryland home care regulations
Acting as a point of contact for prospective families, listening to their needs, and explaining the agency's services
Building relationships with local rehab facilities and physician offices that refer clients
