About The Position
MAS Home Care is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide personalized care to clients in or near Newport, Rhode Island. As a CNA with MAS Home Care, you will collaborate with the nursing team, patients, and families to provide total care, ensuring client safety while promoting independence. This role requires a patient, trusting, communicative, and empathetic individual.
Requirements
- Must have an active CNA license in Rhode Island
- 1 to 2 years prior experience
- Active CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record and background check
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to patients as directed.
- Collaborate with the nursing team, patients, and families to provide total care.
- Ensure the safety of clients while promoting independence.
- Follow care plans and complete documentation.
- Assist with promoting client independence.
- Adhere to patient care plan as set up by the primary nurse while maintaining a healthy, safe environment.
- Demonstrate competency in carrying out patient care/treatments.
