About The Position

Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others? As a Home Care Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) providing in-home care, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. This role involves regular travel between Washtenaw, Monroe, Western Wayne, Livingston, and parts of Oakland counties, providing Home-Based Care.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan.
Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Flexibility to provide coverage in the evening and on weekends.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is desired or obtained within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and grocery shopping.
Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
Respond with kindness and compassion.
Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
