About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring caring, dependable professionals who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and veterans. As a caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care that allows seniors and veterans to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We are looking for experienced caregivers who are willing to travel to surrounding communities and are passionate about providing exceptional care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience required
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable working with both male and female clients
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional attitude

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, errands, and transportation to appointments
• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
• Encouraging independence while improving each client's quality of life
