About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to provide in-home support and care to our clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and mobility assistance.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Hartland, MI.
- Pass background check.
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, following dietary guidelines.
- Assist with mobility and transfer to prevent falls and injuries.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
- Follow care plans and company policies to ensure quality care delivery.
