About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Inkster, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and families.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Inkster, MI.
- Ability to pass background checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and comfortable environment.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals as directed.
- Administer medications as instructed and assist with mobility and transportation as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care and communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
