Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Ida, MI
- Basic knowledge of personal care and safety procedures
- Ability to pass background checks and meet company health standards
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
- Assist clients with mobility and transferring safely
- Follow individualized care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress
