About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Allenton, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help others IS A MUST.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a home care or related healthcare setting is an advantage, but NOT required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and support with mobility and exercise routines as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
