About The Position

Haven Home Care is seeking a Part-Time Home Care Aide to provide essential support with daily living tasks to seniors in their own homes. This role helps clients maintain independence and comfort while allowing aides to have time for their personal lives. Eligible seniors receive services through state or VA-funded programs, and aides fulfill these service hours. The position offers flexible schedules and immediate availability, with pay starting at $17.00 per hour. Haven Home Care emphasizes a positive work environment and team support.

Requirements

• 12 months unpaid experience or 6 months paid experience
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to lift 50 LBS
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Provides direct personal care to clients in the comfort of their home
• Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
• Bathing/personal care
• Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
