Caregiver - Encinitas Day Shifts
About The Position
Windward Life Care is hiring non-medical Home Care Aides to provide one-on-one care for older adults in their homes. The company has been recognized as a San Diego Union-Tribune Top Workplaces award winner for seven consecutive years (2019-2025). This role offers competitive pay with additional incentives for weekend shifts and shorter shifts, along with a gas stipend. Caregivers will work with a team of professional Care Managers and receive 24/7 support. Windward Life Care has been serving San Diego County for 21 years and specializes in geriatric care management and non-medical home care services for private-pay clients, with a mission to improve the lives of older and disabled adults by fostering purpose and maximizing independence.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience with older adults, including: Alzheimer's/Dementia, Personal Care (Bathing/Showering, Incontinence Care)
- Dependable, reliable, and an efficient problem solver
- Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance and Clean Driving Record - must feel comfortable driving clients in your vehicle
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs unassisted
- Ability to pass Home Care Services Bureau Live Scan background check and TB Test
- Compliance with company infection control and safety protocols
