Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of paid homecare, hospice, or facility experience including working with dementia clients,
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong written and verbal communication—you’re comfortable updating digital care logs.
- CPR certification (or willingness to earn within 30 days).
- A genuine desire to foster trust and dignity for every client you serve.
Responsibilities
- Safely transfer clients, support bathing/grooming, and help with mobility devices.
- Change linens, do light laundry, and keep living areas clean and hazard-free.
- Provide timely reminders and record basic observations.
- Read aloud, reminisce, or guide simple chair-exercises to keep clients alert and active.
- Document care notes and promptly share changes with your Care Supervisor.
