Home Care Aide
About The Position
Cura of Watkins is seeking compassionate and attentive Home Care Aides to join our team. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and personal care to clients in their homes, promoting their comfort, independence, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe environment, and offering companionship. If you are dedicated to making a positive impact through quality care, Cura of Watkins is the ideal place to develop your career. This role would work in our assisted living community. We have a part time evening opening, with hours from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, and a Fulltime day shift HCA with shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or similar roles is an advantage.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to follow care plans and work independently.
- Reliable transportation for travel to client homes.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in Home Care or related field preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including dressing, grooming, and other daily tasks.
- Support clients with medication administration as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare supervisors.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
