About The Position

Actively Hiring Home Care Aide for 8 Hour PM Shifts in La Jolla. Cheer Home Care is looking for compassionate individuals to provide non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Requirements

• Assisting with activities of daily living and dementia care
• Able to provide mobility assistance, transfers, and physical support (up to 100–150 lbs)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to drive client in their vehicle (mileage reimbursement included)
• Must have a smartphone with internet access

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled.
• Offer companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Provide transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Offer specialized care for Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Hospice patients.
• Perform light housekeeping and organization.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support (up to 100–150 lbs).
